For the second year in a row, the Bahamas as a destination and Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas have received high marks from readers of Scuba Diving magazine.
This month, the publication released its annual Reader Ratings. Naturally, the Bahamas received strong marks as a destination, with top ratings in many categories. Stuart Cove was once again recognized in the Scuba Diving Magazine’s Top 300 most popular dive operators and resorts “GOLD” list and specifically singled out for “Best Animal Encounter” for its world-famous and popular shark dive.
“These ratings are very important to all of us at Stuart Cove’s because they come from our customers,” said Stuart Cove. “When our customers votes help us receive such an important honor, it means something. The entire staff at Stuart Cove’s shares in these rankings, and we’re working hard to maintain them for next year’s reader ratings from Scuba Diving magazine.”
Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas is widely acclaimed for its shark diving programs, which allow divers to get up close and personal with sharks in their natural environment. Last year, nearly a dozen underwater photographers took part in the 
Great Bahamas Shark Shootout, which produced some incredible images and memories for participants. This is just one of many programs presented by Stuart Cove’s for divers wanting a different and unique scuba diving experience.
The Bahamas as a whole also scored very, very high and was awarded top honors this year in 10 out of 12 classifications as follows: Best Overall Destination, Best Big Animals, Best Value of Diving Dollar, Best Advanced Diving, Best Wreck Diving, Best Underwater Photography, Best Wall Diving, Best Beginner Diving, Best Overall Diving
