(DiverWire) Gulf Coast Divers is seeking a qualified candidate to fill position in its Fairhope, AL location. Ideal candidate will be highly motivated to grow position, a self-starter and ability to communicate effectively.
Description: Manage onsite dive center and teach scuba courses. Store responsibilities include: equipment sales, inventory management, minor equipment repair and over all store operations. Instruction responsibilities will take place evenings and weekends.
This is a new store in a growing market. It is a second facility to complement a 41 year established dive center. If you have prior management experience combined with experience working in the dive industry in a leadership role, this is a great opportunity to help guide a thriving business into future growth.
This role requires strong leadership qualities and the ability to encourage excellent performance from staff.
Base pay plus instruction and commercial work income.

Requirements:
Implement and adhere to all shop operations, processes, standards & safety compliance, and staff rosters
Experience managing a team, providing leadership and motivation for other dive staff
Experience in managing daily operations of a dive facility
Ability to troubleshoot basic problems associated with running a dive business
A good communicator, including the ability to liaise with the General Manager, dive staff, students and customers.
Instructor (Active Status)
Retail store management, preferably dive retail experience
