THE Diving Event of the Year looks to be a jam packed weekend..
America’s Largest Dive Expo is expecting a solid turn out this weekend. Taking place May 30 & 31 at the Long Beach Convention Center, SCUBA Show 2009 is looking forward to a great weekend.
With over 300 exhibit booths, 33 seminars, 30 films and Wyland doing a live painting through out the weekend, attendees will need two days to see it all. Free diving champion Jana Strain will be signing autographs at the DiverWire booth (#447) Saturday between 2 and 3 pm.
There will also be the official launch of the Roddenberry Dive Team (www.roddenberrydiveteam.com), taking place at 5:15pm on Saturday. So, one might see a couple of pointy ears this weekend.
The Saturday Night Casino Party will benefit California Ships to Reef and the California Scuba Service Award will be given to Bamboo Reef Owner Sal Zammitti.
