Thousands of SCUBA divers anticipated for Our World-Underwater dive show this weekend in Chicago

Our World-Underwater show organizers couldn’t be more pleased about the buzz about this weekend’s scuba diving show in Chicago. More than 20,000 attendees are anticipated as Our World-Underwater celebrates its 40th year.

According to Patrick Hammer, the Show’s President, “This weekend could be the most attended Our World-Underwater Show ever. People are talking and the anticipation for the Show is growing every day.” The Show, which has changed venues several times during its history, will take place at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois Friday through Sunday.

Hammer said that highlights of the show include not one but TWO underwater film festivals on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Well-known SCUBA diving celebrities including Stan Waterman, Howard and Michelle Hall, Nancy McGee and others will present their latest aquatic works.

The fund-raising auction to benefit the Tim Early Foundation is larger than ever he said, with close to $40,000 in prizes, equipment and other products up for bid. For more details about the silent auction, go to SILENT AUCTION

As always, the show will feature a wide array of exhibits, speakers and presentations. For a complete list of seminars and programs, go to Our World-Underwater Workshops
