SCUBAPRO Named DIVER Magazine Brand of the Year

Popular diving equipment company continues to receive praise around the world

DIVER, a premier European diving publication, and the UK’s best selling dive magazine has named SCUBAPRO UWATEC the 2008 Brand of the Year. This is the second year in a row and the fifth time in the last seven years that SCUBAPRO UWATEC has won the coveted award.

DIVER credits the direction of Joe Stella for leading the company with “new products that have put it consistently at the forefront of dive-gear sales, and have made the company a serial winner of Brand of the Year.”  

Joe, in turn credits his team: “Everyone at SCUBAPRO is focused on living up to SCUBAPRO’s tagline – “deep down, you want the best” – by providing superior product, quality and service.” Through 2009 SCUBAPRO plans to introduce more innovative new scuba products, no doubt keeping them atop industry favorites.

Second and third place were awarded to Suunto, a manufacturer of diving computers, and Mares, a producer of a full line of diving products.
