At the recent DEMA International Show in Las Vegas, TUSA unveiled several new products in the mask, snorkel, fin, BC and regulator categories setting the stage for a lot of buzz at local dive stores early next year.
“Anticipation and excitement about the release of these key new products was evident in the amount of business that was booked at this year’s show, DEMA was a great success.” according to National Sales Manager, Anna Backe.
2012 saw the release of the much anticipated M-211 Freedom One featuring Freedom Technology®, TUSA will continue to build on this success with the release of three new mask models for 2013. The M-41 Freedom Quad – an advanced 4 window design and the M-212 Ceos and M-212 Ceos PRO – low-profile 2 window designs. Traditional colors along with new Siesta Green/White, Light Blue/White, and Siesta Green/Black will be available.
In the fin category, two new models were unveiled, the SF-22 Solla and FF-23 Solla Full Foot. Completely new designs, the SF-22 and FF-23 are powered by TUSA ForcElast® technology which offers unparalleled performance and efficiency previously unseen in a traditional blade fin. In addition, the Solla models have several unique features that deliver superior propulsion, speed and maneuverability.
The BCJ-8000 X-Wing received high praise and positive feedback from dealers for innovation and design. TUSA’s patented Independent Harness System and Ultimate Stabilizing Harness is mated with a newly designed 500D Cordura® nylon removable horseshoe bladder and new A.W.L.S. II integrated weight system offering excellent lift, comfort and freedom of movement.
Rounding out the new products for 2013, there will be two new regulator products, the RS-860 and SS-60. The RS-860, available in both INT (yoke) and DIN, is a compact and lightweight balanced piston first stage mated with the S-60 second-stage that features a diver adjustable sensitivity control to deliver air smoothly with each breath. The SS-60 safe-second shares the same features as the S-60 but with a high visibility yellow purge cover and 39″/99cm long yellow hose.
