(DiverWire) Sawyer Media, LLC and the Dive Traveler App announce they have formed a strategic alliance with global training agency, Scuba Schools International (SSI). As part of a Generation 2.0 build and expansion of the revolutionary Dive Traveler App, Sawyer Media and SSI have partnered to give users of the app a SCUBA training agency and destination travel fulfillment platform. This strategic alliance will give SSI and its worldwide alliance of retailers, resorts and dealers an immediate, destination-based global digital mobile media platform, the first of its kind in the dive industry, from which to grow and expand their brand and brand awareness.

Dive Traveler is currently available on the iPad, with versions for the iPhone, Android Tablets and Android Smartphones coming soon. The Generation 2.0 version will include a long list of updated and more dynamic features to make the app even more user friendly and will increase the level of user personalization in each section of the app. The projected date for completion of Gen 2.0 is mid-July 2013.
