The New Year is here. The crispy winter air I inhale every time I breath makes me believe that this year will bring great things. 2009 will be an amazing year.
Despite the depressing headlines, I am optimistic. My Grandmother taught me not to see the bad, but rather the good side of all things and the opportunities they hide. She will be 90 years old this week. She lived through one major war and laughed at me when I tried to explain her how bad things are right now. I felt embarrassed and made it my New Year’s Resolution to MAKE 2009 an amazing year!
So, I was thinking what is the good side of a recession? Time! One, who lost a job, now has the time to do things. Things that will help her in the future or things she never had the time to do before. Read on to find out what!
