SEA&SEA’s announces the scheduled release of the RDX-500D DSLR housing for the popular Canon Rebel 500D/T1i and Rebel 450D/XSi.
The RDX-500D is set for release in the first week of August and is part of SEA&SEA’s new line of polycarbonate housings that blend technology and economy with an MSRP of $1,450.00.
The RDX-500D will be available as housing only, part # SS-06150 and as a package with the RDX standard flat port, part #SS-06628A.
The RDX series accepts SEA&SEA’s NX, CX and RDX ports systems allowing use of a variety of popular lenses along with TTL and Fiber-Optic Slave lighting options and SLR accessories.
According to Sea&Sea officials, these housings are being introduced as a direct result of requests from scuba diving photographers who are seeking to improve their underwater imaging skills.
