(DiverWire) Divi Flamingo Beach Resort on Bonaire is celebrating 60 years of serving the scuba diving community in 2012. A major part of that celebration is a monthly series of promotions and opportunities for all dive travelers to enjoy and participate in.
In January and February, visiting guests were able to take advantage of special room discounts and Valentine’s Spa packages. But there’s much more on the schedule for 2012 according to Bonnie Hanley, Divi Flamingo’s Property Sales Manager.
“This is a time of celebration and we’re doing several special things to commemorate the last 60 years. There’s a special Stephen Frink Underwater Photography program in July, a SingleDivers.com singles week in March, and something we are all excited about, a ‘Legends of Divi Diving’ Reunion in June.”
Hanley said all of the events are highlighted on the Divi Website and that more programs would be added throughout the year. The most recent addition? In May, diving guests signing up for a week-long dive vacation will receive three FREE afternoon boat dives. Other months give a 7 night package for the price of a 6 night package.
“Divi Resorts has always thrived because of our return guests,” Hanley adds. “So to show our appreciation to all of our guests, EVERY guest who stays at Divi Flamingo in 2012 will be eligible to win a free return trip in 2013.”
Divi Flamingo Resort is one of the most popular scuba diving resorts on the island of Bonaire. The property was the first hotel to cater to divers back in the 1950s and the scuba diving opportunities at the resort continue to grow. Click here for more details on the Divi Flamingo Dive Center
