Former owner of Avid Charters Captain Oliver Paoli has joined Chris Brown and his team at Silent World Dive Center in Key Largo Florida. Oliver is world renowned for his expertise in running technical diving charters from his boat “Avid Diver” in Pompano Beach. Specializing in ‘hot dropping’ techniques in the often harsh currents of the Straits of Florida, Oliver built a solid reputation from years of consistent and excellent service.
He recently decided it was time to utilize his dive instructional and retail sales skills and join a recognized full service dive charter that was also leader in technical dive instruction and sales. Chris has been running a successful dive charter and retail business in the Keys for 6 years and is well known for his technical diving school, ownership of the internet forum The Deco Stop and his annual wreck diving extravaganza “Wreckfest”
When Chris and Oliver met, they quickly realized that they shared the same passion for wreck and technical diving and the same philosophies for what makes great dive instruction and memorable dive trips.
“Deep wreck and tec diving is in our blood here at Silent World.” said Chris Brown. “I attract staff that share my passion, because they want to be around a team of people who are as enthusiastic about it as they are. When I met Oliver and realized he was up for a new challenge, I jumped at the chance to get him onboard. We are excited about it and I look forward to doing some great things this year.”
