(DiverWire) Utila Dive Centre has partnered with ScubaDiverLife to offer a contest designed to get divers and non-divers thinking about how they can preserve and protect the world’s oceans and aquatic realm. The Win the Scuba Life Contest offers a wide array of prizes, with the grand prize being a PADI Instructor course courtesy of Utila Dive Centre in the Bay Islands.
Other prizes include ScubaPro dive equipment, SeaLife underwater cameras, online coral reef ecology courses and more.
“There’s never been a time with so much awareness on the planet, with news of climate change, and over fishing, coral reef degradation, shark fining, whaling, and we want to hear what you would do to make a positive difference,” says Nadia Aly of ScubaDiverLife.com. The contest is open to anyone (divers and non-divers alike). Simply submit a short 2 minute video, telling your us why you want to become a scuba Instructor and what you would do to make a positive difference to the environment and support conservation.
Part of the winning criteria is how popular your message is (video entries will be posted on the site), so don’t delay and submit a video as early as possible to have the best chance of winning.
