Into the Drink Scuba TV program introduces new host, Nick Lucey

LiquidAssets.tv, producers of “Into the Drink,” has announced that after careful television market research and industry analysis, it has decided to appoint Nick Lucey as the new host of the dive travel television show for Season Two. Nick has served as producer, writer and online manager of LiquidAssets.tv and the show since production of the television series began in September 2008.Â

A fixture of the dive industry, Nick is no stranger to traveling the world in search of a good story, serving as Editor of Scuba Diving Magazine for 15 years from 1993 to 2008.

Nick began his career in journalism in the 1980’s as a photojournalist in the U.S. Marine Corps, attached to infantry and artillery units deployed throughout the western Pacific and Asia. He finished his tour as a sergeant at Parris Island, S.C., then moved to nearby Savannah, Georgia, where he became a copy editor for the Savannah Morning News. He then worked his way up the ranks to become Editor at Large of Scuba Diving Magazine, where he served as a territory sales manager and online sales and site manager for the magazine’s web properties, including ScubaDiving.com, for more than 15 years.

Nick is among the world’s foremost dive journalists and industry experts, and his assignments have taken him to all corners of the globe in search of articles and underwater and topside photos, including Australia, Baja, Borneo, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Hawaii, Japan, the Maldives, Micronesia, Tahiti, and nearly every island in the Caribbean.
