After five successful “Invasions” to the Keys (ITK), and two wildly huge Invade Cozumel Events in 2011 & 2012, ScubaBoard.com has announced the latest large group event will take place in Bonaire in June, 2013. Each year the group gets bigger as returning Invaders bring new members.
This event, June 22nd through June 29th, is all inclusive hotel, meals, bar, nitrox, 5 boat dive trips, unlimited shore diving, and nightly festivites including opening night and closing night parties at the Plaza Resort. A deal that can not be beat, for just $1175/d.o. (airfare not included).
Additionally sponsors have donated thousands of dollars in great prizes for the festivities.NASE Worldwide has donated free Nitrox certification through participating instructors for any Invader who wants to take advatage of free nitrox but is not yet certified. From underwater photo scavenger hunts to after dinner dance-offs, merrimaking abounds. Over 75 participants from 3 countries & 18 US states have signed up so far; there are only 30 spots remaining. There are plenty of festivites for non-diving family members as well.
