Oceanic Worldwide has announced a new iPhone application that provides instant details, graphics and explanations for twelve of the company’s popular scuba diving computers. The App, developed in conjunction with DiveNav, Inc. gives you instant mobile access to convenient and easy to understand tutorials for almost every Oceanic dive computer.
According to Doug Krause, Oceanic Worldwide’s Marketing Manager, the new App provides a simple and easy way for divers to learn how their computers function through an interactive display that includes live-action video. “Many of the simulator and demonstration pieces that divers see in a dive store are incomplete – they don’t show the customer how a computer will function and display underwater and at depth. Krause explains that the App, which is available at the iTunes store, provides direct links to a series of brief instructional videos designed to help users learn more about their dive computers and see how the displays work.
