Earlier this week, officials from three prominent scuba-related companies announced ScubaLife™. ScubaLife™ is a groundbreaking initiative from NASE Worldwide, Ocean Designs Corp and Scuba Travel Ventures that leverages the power of the Internet and social media to bring new opportunities to students, divers and dive professionals worldwide.
“Scubalife will attract new divers into the lifestyle on an emotional level by appealing to those who want to ‘be a part of something,’” says Allen Garber, VP Marketing. “Our goal is to keep divers active by building a community; diving is a buddy sport, not an isolated experience,” says Garber.
The ScubaLife concept is a web-based business for serious Dive Professionals, Dive Retailers and Dive Instructors who are seeking new and innovative ways to make money doing what they love — without tying up a small fortune in inventory and overhead, or spending hundreds of man hours trying to launch even the most rudimentary of shopping cart websites.
The business model allows traditional retail dive stores to extend their reach beyond the local area and build partnerships with other dive professionals.
