(DiverWire) Following the success of the 1st Utila Dive Festival in 2012, the event has attracted more sponsorship and now has more equipment, vacation stays and training to be won on this scuba divers mecca. Utila, located in the Caribbean Bay Islands, is a 2 hour international flight from the hubs of Miami (American Airlines/TACA), Houston (Continental), El Salvador (TACA) and Atlanta (Delta), with domestic connections from the mainland.
The event is being sponsored by major players from the dive industry including PADI, DAN, REEF, Aqualung, Cressi Sub, Dive Rite, GoPro Cameras, LeisurePro, Liquivision Dive Computers, ScubaPro, Sealife Cameras and many more local businesses and the dive operators of Utila.
