New Galapagos dive live-aboard, NORTADA, introduced

(DiverWire) A new live-aboard concept in the Galapagos, Nortada is being introduced in late 2013 as a private charter dive boat for groups of up to 8 people. Nortada will regularly offer highly sought-after 11 day itineraries to Darwin and Wolf along with short 5 day trips in the central archipelago.

The vision of Nortada is to maximize diving and provide great value in the Galapagos live-aboard market. This is why we will offer longer itineraries with extended times at Wolf and Darwin, rebreather and technical diving friendly facilities, availability for specialist diver departures and citizen science opportunities, said Enrique Wittmer manager of Rolf Wittmer Turismo.

Wittmer Turismo is a company with over 30 years operating naturalist and dive boats in Galapagos and will be the operative representative of the vessel in Galapagos.

Dive operations quality assurance, training, equipment and specialist support will be provided by the Galapagos Tip Top Dive & Training facility, a PADI 5 star Instructor Development, National Geographic and Tec Rec Dive Center in the Islands.
